INSPIRATION

AT newARTmix, WE LOVE EXPLORING FRESH WAYS TO SHOW ART IN INTERIORS. Beyond traditional wall art, printing on metal and acrylic opens up exciting possibilities that canvas and paper simply can’t offer. It’s not just about filling a wall — it’s about setting a mood, sparking conversations, and giving you new tools to make your interior stand out. From bold shapes and creative groupings to double-sided panels and even backsplash surfaces, there are so many directions to explore.

This page is our little inspiration corner. Not all of this we’ve tried in our own projects — most of these are just ideas. But if something excites you, we’d be more than happy to create it together — or hear your own ideas and needs, and help bring them to life.

Whether you’re a designer working on a client's dream project, a stager preparing a home, or simply someone decorating your own space, we hope these concepts spark new ways to think about art. After all, great design is all about the details — and sometimes, it’s that one creative twist that transforms a space from nice to unforgettable.

And, of course, if you have ideas of your own, we’d love to hear them.

ART-in-SHAPE

WHO SAYS ART ALWAYS HAS TO BE A RECTANGLE? Printing on metal makes it possible to create custom shapes that feel fresh and unexpected. Imagine a circle above a sofa, hexagons arranged like a honeycomb, or organic, free-flowing outlines that echo the curves of furniture or architecture.

Shaped art can soften a rigid layout, bring playfulness to a kids’ room, or add drama to a large wall without relying on traditional frames. These kinds of prints are perfect for accent walls, creative commercial spaces, or anywhere you want art to feel more like a one-of-a-kind installation than just an artwork.

GROUPING Ideas

SOMETIMES ONE IMAGE ISN’T ENOUGH — THAT’S WHERE GROUPING COMES IN. Instead of one oversized print, you can combine different sizes, colors, or even art styles into a striking wall story.

Think of a series of coffee cups reimagined in different artistic styles, or a set of photographs where each piece captures a different mood of the same place. Groupings let you mix small and large pieces, create symmetry or playful irregular layouts, and design walls that feel curated and personal.

MOUNTING & FRAMING

HOW YOU DISPLAY ART IS JUST AS IMPORTANT AS THE ART ITSELF. WITH METAL PRINTS, THE OPTIONS ARE FAR BEYOND WHAT CANVAS OR PAPER CAN OFFER.

STANDOFFs. Available in multiple colors (silver, gold, black, red, blue yet), different shapes (round, square, rectangular), and depths. Even clear acrylic or wooden. Layering standoffs even allows one artwork to float above another for a dramatic effect. Standoffs can even include LED lighting for an illuminated, high-tech look.

FRAMEs. While canvas frames can feel heavy, sleek metal frames give your art a clean, modern finish. They’re especially effective in offices, galleries, or minimalist interiors where detail matters.

The right mounting or framing choice can completely transform the way art lives in a space.

DOUBLE-SIDE PRINT

THIS IS SOMETHING CANVAS OR PAPER SIMPLY CAN’T DO. With metal and acrylic, we can print different images on each side of a panel. Mounted with standoffs, it becomes visible from both directions.

Double-sided prints are ideal for:

• Room dividers in offices or open-plan homes.

• Storefronts and windows, where art can be seen from inside and outside.

• Homes, where you might flip or rotate a piece to match your mood or seasonal décor.

It’s an exciting option for anyone who wants flexibility and surprise in how art is experienced.

These are just a few starting points. The real magic happens when ideas meet your project. Whether you’re a designer planning a statement installation, a stager looking for impact pieces, or a homeowner decorating your favorite corner, we’d love to explore what’s possible together.
